It's time to go back to school.

The WSOP Academy is holding a three-day World Series of Poker Main Event primer at Caesars Palace this week to prepare tuition-paying poker players for the main event, which starts Saturday.

The instructors for the 2007 Main Event Primer are some of the best in the world, and include 11-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, 2004 WSOP Champion Greg Raymer, 2005 WSOP Champion Joe Hachem, WSOP bracelet winners Mark Seif and Scott Fischman, and former FBI agent and expert of nonverbal communication Joe Navarro.

This edition of the WSOP Academy will give its students all the tools to go out and win the main event. The WSOP Academy is having a heck of a WSOP so far. This year's WSOP ladies world champion, Sally Ann Boyer, won her seat through the WSOP Academy that was specifically held for woman.

By the end of the week, two WSOP Main Event Primer participants will also end up playing in the main event. The two WSOP qualifiers take place Wednesday and Thursday, one being a no-limit freezeout and the other a shootout. Both are included in the $2,199 tuition. The classes take place July 3-5.

This seminar includes hours of classes by the name pros, live hand demonstrations by Navarro and the pros, and plenty of class discussion. Students also get plenty of written materials, including Navarro's book, to take home as textbooks, and the lectures and seminars have been honed by the instructors for more than a year.

There's also an opening night reception at Pure nightclub at Caesars's Palace, and a banquet where the final table of the freezeout will take place on Thursday. Lunch is also provided daily.

The WSOP Academy holds seminars all around the country throughout the year. For more information about the WSOP Main Event Primer, or upcoming academies, visit wsopacademy.com.
