A fourth starting heat was added to this year's World Series of Poker's $10,000 Championship Event. Players now start their WSOP quest on one of four starting days instead of the three originally scheduled.

These heats are called Day 1A, Day 1B, Day 1C, and Day 1D, and will take place July 6, July 7, July 8, and July 9. Originally, July 9 was scheduled as a day off.

Officials also added a second "Day 2" to the schedule: Day 2A and Day 2B. They will take place July 10 and July 11. Play will take place through July 15. July 16, is still scheduled as an off day.

The final table is set to take place July 17.
