Last Rush for Main Event Seats Now Taking Place

The World Series of Poker main event starts Friday, and the next several days will see a mega-flux of players heading to the Rio and trying to satellite their way into the year's biggest poker tournament.

Mega-satellites take place from now until Thursday evening in which as many seats into the main event will be awarded as possible. The schedule and buy-ins follow:

• July 3, 9 p.m., $550
• July 4, 10 a.m., $550
• July 4, 4 p.m., $550
• July 4, 9 p.m. $550
• July 5, 10 a.m., $1,060
• July 5, 4 p.m., $1,060
• July 5, 9 p.m., $550

Both single and multi-table sit-and-go satellites into both the main event and the mega-satellites are also running around the clock at the Rio. Winners receive chips that can be used to buy in to any of the tournaments or satellites, so players can be creative when figuring out how to finagle their way into the main event. These tokens can also be used to play in any of the last-chance tournaments that are taking place next week. The list follows:
