After a series of announcements spread over the past month and a half, the World Series of Poker has released information on what it refers to as ‘the final pod of live events’ for the 2019 WSOP.

The 50th annual running of poker’s biggest tournament festival will once again take place at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, running from May 28 – July 16. A total of 80 live bracelet events have now been announced, with no online bracelet event info yet released.

In recent weeks the WSOP publicized the finalized schedules of the popular large-field no-limit hold’em events, the $10,000-and-higher championship events, and the fact that all no-limit hold’em events would feature a big-blind ante format this year.

In the latest update, the WSOP announced a half-dozen no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha and mixed big-bet events to round out the schedule, all featuring buy-ins in the $600-$800 range. These tournaments will fit into what the WSOP is referring to as its Deepstack events, which are all priced under $1,000. One of the new events is the Deepstack Championship, a $600 buy-in with 30,000 starting chips and a $500,000 guarantee. The event, which begins at 11:00 a.m. on June 25, will also award a seat into the WSOP main event to the champion.

A new charity event was also added to the 2019 schedule. The “SALUTE to Warriors” event is a $500 buy-in no-limit hold’em bracelet event that will kick off on Tuesday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. The three-day tournament features 40-minute levels and 25,000 starting stacks and is scheduled to decide a champion July 4th, America’s Independence Day. The WSOP is going to donate proceeds from the event to the United Service Organizations (USO) and other veteran organizations. The event is open to all participants that are legally eligible.

“We hope everyone who loves the game of poker comes out to experience our big 50th,” said WSOP Vice President Jack Effel. “We are confident you will find an event or two to your liking, and hopefully one that allows you to raise the gold bracelet over your head at the end of it.”

The latest press release from the WSOP also included information on the popular Daily Deepstack events, non-bracelet tournaments at lower price points that run alongside the WSOP main schedule. On most days from May 28 – July 16, there will be a $250 1:00 p.m. no-limit hold’em event, a $200 4:00 p.m. no-limit hold’em event, a $400 7:00 p.m. ‘Accelerated Format’ no-limit hold’em event, and a $150 10:00 p.m. ‘Accelerated Format’ no-limit hold’em event. These daily events will sometimes be canceled to accommodate some of the largest bracelet events.

Like the bracelet events of 2019, the Daily Deepstacks will also utilize the big-blind ante this year. A new addition to the non-bracelet Deepstacks event schedule in a weekly $250 pot-limit Omaha event at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and a weekly $250 Seniors (50+) no-limit hold’em, held at 9:00 a.m. each Wednesday throughout the series.
