Card Player Poker Tour Returns To Ocean's Eleven Apr. 25 - 28

The San Diego Classic Features Six Starting Flights, A Quantum Reload Option for Day 2 and a $150,000 Estimated Prize Pool

Later this month the Card Player Poker Tour is set to return to Ocean’s 11 Casino near San Diego for the ninth running of the CPPT Ocean’s 11 San Diego Classic main event. The tournament features a $250 buy-in and will run from April 25 – 28, with six starting flights available. There will be two starting flights per day from Apr. 25 – 27, with the first kicking off at 10:00 AM and the second at 6:00 PM.

Players will also be able to take advantage of the popular Quantum Tournament structure of this event and buy in for $1,500 on Sunday, Apr. 28 for day 2. Day 2 direct buy-in players will receive 100,000 in tournament chips, and can also pay a $30 optional staff add-on and receive another 20,000 in chips. The blinds will resume at 1,000-2,000 to start day 2. Players will be able to re-enter once before the second level on day 2.

2019 CPPT Ocean's Eleven Sn Diego Classic January Champion Matthew WelchThe eight previous winners of this event are Barry Seidman, Shawn Busse, Robert DeAgazio, Barry Knowlton, Scott ‘Brian’ Blount, David McCaw and Matthew Welch. In January of 2019, Welch outlasted a field of 823 total entries to win $41,300.

Ocean’s 11 is the only casino in Southern California located along the Pacific Ocean on the Interstate 5 freeway, less than a mile from some of the area’s most picturesque beaches.

The property also boasts 50 tables of the best poker and table games found anywhere in California with all the favorite poker games, including no-limit and limit hold’em, Omaha, Omaha eight-or-better, pot-limit Omaha, and crazy pineapple.
