The 2007 World Series of Poker's main event is just getting rolling and already ESPN is ready to start broadcasting its coverage of this year's selected preliminary events today (July 10).
The first televised event, the $5,000 World Championship Mixed Hold'em event ,will be aired at 5 p.m PT/ 8 p.m. ET. The hourlong episode with be followed by a $1,500 no-limit hold'em event.
WSOP broadcast will continue with two more events back to back July 17, at the same times. ESPN takes a week off, but continues broadcasting the WSOP July 31, and continues broadcasting the events every Tuesday until mid-October.
Last year poker fans had to wait until the summer was just about over to watch the 2006 events.
