Here's a List of Poker Stars that Won't Be the 2007 Main Event Champ

Phil Hellmuth won't win his twelfth bracelet this year. Jamie Gold won't repeat as the main event champion. Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, Josh Arieh, Marcel Luske, David Benyamine, and Johnny Chan have all made the long walk from the main event tables through the exit doors.

Yes, the main event can be cruel even to the world's best and the list of eliminated pros is astounding.

With 6,358 entries, it can get tricky following the players who are still in and who are long gone, but this should help poker fans know who didn't make it deep into what is officially called by Harrah's the $10,000 World Championship No Limit Hold'em event.
