Officially, 1,303 players will have seats and chips at noon today for day 2B of the
World Series of Poker main event.
In order to duplicate day 2A, which stopped last night at 350 players, the field today will play three two-hour levels before dinner; they will then come back and play all of level four and about one hour 20 minutes of level five. All players who survive today will join the 350 players from day 2A in a combined field tomorrow for day 3.
If the numbers hold true, we would expect about 435 players to survive today's play.
