The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas is currently hosting one of the most anticipated and rewarding events in poker: The DeepStack Extravaganza Poker Series.
The luxury of The Venetian sets the stage for the month-long event and rewards attendees with spacious all-suite accommodations, award-winning restaurants, a collective of cocktail havens, pulse-racing entertainment, and a newly-remodeled casino that deserves a second, and even a third glance. All serve to highlight the most energetic and prized poker tournaments in Las Vegas.
Having started Dec. 12 and running to Jan. 12, 2020, DeepStack is a four-week frenzy of dynamic play that boasts 53 tournaments and more than $1.8 million in guaranteed prize pools.
The DeepStack Extravaganza Poker Series plays out in a number of single- and multi-day tournament options and formats that include bounties, turbos, super stacks, monster stacks, and survivors. No-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, and Omaha eight-or-better are some of the more popular events on the schedule, which also includes a senior’s tournament. Buy-ins begin at $200 and vary all the way up to $3,500, ensuring there are accessible and exciting options for everyone.
The Card Player Poker Tour also makes it’s return to the cardroom Dec. 21-23 for a $3,500 buy-in, $500,000 guaranteed main event.
Players will begin the tournament with 40,000 in chips, and enjoy 60-minute blind levels. Registration will remain open though level 13 on day 2. Check out the tournament structure here.
Last year, top poker pro Jon Turner won his second CPPT title at the Venetian, topping a field of 341 to earn a $247,055 payday.
