One of Louisiana’s premiere poker rooms returns to action next week as Coushatta Casino Resort announced that it will open its poker room on June 17.

The 10-table room will open at 10 a.m. and offer the same games as previously spread and poker players can expect to choose from $4-$8 limit hold’em, $1-$3 no-limit hold’em, $2-$5 no-limit hold’em and a $4-$8 Omaha hi-lo with a ½ kill. Staff will also take an interest list for other games and stakes upon request.

In compliance with guidelines from local officials to ensure the safety of its players, Coushatta’s poker room will run games with no more than seven players at a table, to ensure social distancing.

The staff will switch out and sanitize decks on a regular basis, hand sanitizer stations will be placed around the room and players will be required to wear masks to help prevent the spread of germs.

Coushatta Casino Resort is one of Southwestern Louisiana’s premiere gaming destinations, located two hours west of Baton Rouge in Kinder.
