Card Player Poker Tour bestbet Jacksonville Series To Run June 17-28

The Centerpiece of the 11-Event Series Will Be The $2,500 Buy-in CPPT Main Event Set For June 25-28

Live tournament poker is back in a big way at bestbet Jacksonville. The poker hotspot in northern Florida has hosted two marquee tournament series so far in 2021: the Winter Open and the Spring Series. The two poker festivals were both runaways hits, as they collectively saw more than 4,600 entries made and $3.3 million in prize money awarded across 22 events.

The next major series at the venue will see bestbet Jacksonville team up with the Card Player Poker Tour for an 11-event series running from June 17-28. This will mark the eighth time that the CPPT has joined forces with bestbet Jacksonville.

Action kicks off for the series with the $560 buy-in no-limit hold’em event that will run from June 17-20, with three starting flights available to choose from and the final table streamed on bestbetLIVE. The Spring Series kickoff event attracted a massive field of 741 entries to create a prize pool of $363,104. Eventual champion Kenneth Brossoit walked away with $51,180 for the win.

2019 CPPT bestbet Jacksonville champion Dylan DrazenThe Card Player Poker Tour $2,500 buy-in main event will run from June 25-28. There are two starting flights on offer, each kicking off at noon on Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26. Players will start with 30,000 in chips, with 40-minute blind levels to start. Like every tournament on the schedule for this series, the main event will feature unlimited re-entries during the registration period. Registration for the main event will remain open until the start of level 10. The final table will be set the following day, with live-streaming, cards-up coverage of the action set for Monday, June 28 at 4:00.

The 2019 CPPT main event saw Dylan Drazen beat out a field of 329 entries in a $1,100 buy-in tournament to earn a top prize of $62,613. Below is a look at the full list of CPPT bestbet Jacksonville main event champions from over the years:

Other highlights during the 2021 CPPT bestbet Jacksonville series include the $360 buy-in pot-limit Omaha event, the $1,200 six-max no-limit hold’em event, the $360 H.O.R.S.E. event, and the $360 buy-in Ladies no-limit hold’em event. The final table of the Ladies event will be live stream on bestbetLIVE on June 22.
