Sept. 4, 2007, Las Vegas, NV: Card Player Media Player Representation is pleased to announce that Mike Matusow, John D'Agostino, and Jon Friedberg have been chosen as WPT Boot Camp® instructors.

WPT Boot Camp offers instructional camps for both cash games and tournament play, for which all three players will be instructing. Matusow, one of the most well-known poker players in the world, has two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets, placed second in the WPT Bellagio Cup III tournament, and has more than $5,600,000 in tournament winnings. Friedberg has one WSOP bracelet and more than $850,000 in tournaments winnings. D'Agostino, known to be a great tournament player and one of the most prolific cash-game players in the world, has more than $1,600,000 in tournament winnings.

"We are thrilled to add these three very accomplished poker players to our existing staff of instructors," stated Steve Berman, vice president of the WPT Boot Camp. "We recognize that there is a true science to how people learn, and we take that into account when we select certain players to pass on their knowledge. Mike, J-Dags, and Jon all bring varied skills and styles of play to the camp. All three will be participating in both our tournament and cash strategy boot camps and will be an exciting addition for both future students and our returning alumni."

In addition to cash game and tournament camps, the players have been invited to attend and instruct at the WPT Boot Camp Battle for the Season II Pass event in Nassau, Bahamas. Over five days, students will interact with professional poker players in live learning labs, then play in two exclusive tournaments with a combined prize pool of more than $210,000 worth of WPT buy-in packages.

"I already have attended one session and I'm looking forward to being the lead instructor at the MGM cash camp December 21-22," stated Matusow. "It feels good to pass on my knowledge and tournament guidelines to people who are there to learn."

D'Agostino echoed Matusow's sentiments: "The format of the boot camps is a very effective teaching tool. I am excited to pass on my knowledge of tournament play to eager students. I will be teaching my first camp on cash game play at Foxwoods October 13-14."
