The fourth annual PokerStars World Cup of Poker finals begin today, and fans can catch every moment of the action since it will be streamed live from Barcelona, Spain.

Similar to the soccer World Cup, the World Cup of Poker is an international competition. National teams of poker players go head-to-head for the right to be named the World Cup champions. The competition was open to everyone, and players could qualify for free.

A total of 57 teams have been whittled down to eight after a set of qualifying tournaments. The final eight teams were flown to Barcelona, with travel and expenses paid, in order to compete for the title and $250,000 in prize money. Nations still represented in the World Cup of Poker IV are the U.S., Canada, Germany, Ireland, Iceland, Portugal, Romania, and Mexico.

Tuesday, Sept. 4

  • Heat one - 10 a.m.-3 p.m. ET
  • Heat two - 4 p.m.-9 p.m. ET

Wednesday, Sept. 5

  • Heat three - 10 a.m.-3 p.m. ET

Thursday,Sept. 6

  • Heat four - 10 a.m.-3 p.m. ET
  • Heat five - 4 p.m.-9 p.m. ET

Friday, Sept. 7

  • Final (featuring top four teams) - 12:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. ET
