High-stakes poker player Garrett Adelstein demonstrated yet again what a nice guy he is in a recent live stream from the Hustler Casino in Gardena, California.
In the video, Adelstein is seen on the losing end of an all-in hand with K 10 on a board reading Q 3 3 4 K against his opponent Dylan Gang’s pocket fours for a full house.
The pot was worth about $186,000 in the $100-$200-$400 no-limit hold’em game.
After seeing the chips go in the pot, Gang inexplicably said, “good call.” Adelstein tabled his hand and began dragging his chips back, only for Gang to add, “just kidding.”
Despite getting salt rubbed in his wound, Adelstein barely reacted to the situation. It was a classy move despite the slow roll.
He later addressed the hand on social media, continuing to shrug off the poor etiquette that would have sent many players off.
Regarding the pot I lost w KT vs Dylan’s 44: We have no history aside from playful banter last week. I have no ill will towards him and he’s welcome to slowroll, needle, moon me midhand, etc. That said, he’s got an uphill battle if he thinks I’m affected by anything he does/says
