CakePoker Launches Two New Promotions SundayPlayers Can Compete in the First $100,000-Guaranteed Tournament and Qualify for WPT Events |

CakePoker is really adding some frosting to its tournament schedule. Sunday, Sept. 9 will mark the start of the largest prize pool tournament offered by the site to date, as well as the launch of World Poker Tour satellites.
The rapidly growing online poker site is doubling the weekly guaranteed tournament's guarantee from $50,000 to $100,000. The $100,000-guaranteed tournament (which offers rebuys and add-ons) has a $54 buy-in and is scheduled to take place every Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
Players on CakePoker will also be able to win seats in WPT events. Starting Sunday, a satellite series to the Fourth-Annual North American Poker Championship in Ontario, Canada will begin. The $212 buy-in satellite begins at 5 p.m. ET and will award as many $12,000 WPT prize packages as possible. Included in the package is a $10,000 buy-in and an extra $2,000 in spending cash.
Players can also earn a seats into both events via dally cash sit-and-go or multitable satellites for as little as $2. Another option for frequent CakePoker players is the Cake Reward route to Sunday's events by using Gold Chips to win seats.
