What Is A PKO Tournament?
In a normal $10 buy-in knockout or bounty tournament, $5 would go to the prize pool and $5 would go to the bounty. Knocking out another player would result in $5 added to any prize you cash for.
In a $10 PKO tournament, $5 would go to the prize pool, and $5 goes to the bounty. However, when you knock someone out of the tournament, instead of getting the full $5, you get half that amount, or $2.50. The other $2.50 now gets added to your own bounty, making it now worth $7.50.
Should someone take you out, the process repeats itself. They’ll pocket $3.75 (half the current bounty), and the other $3.75 gets added to their head.
