The Detroit Lions are deepening their relationships with gambling operators ahead of the upcoming NFL season.

Lions announced a partnership with Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort, which will include presenting partnership on the upcoming “Inside the Den” television specials, weekly “Inside the Pride” episodes for the 2022 season, and a “Power Hour” presented by Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort at Ford Field on Detroit Lions gamedays.

Soaring Eagle is a tribal casino located in Mt Pleasant, Mich., which is about a two-hour car drive from Ford Field in Detroit. The MotorCity has three commercial casinos, while tribal casinos in Michigan are spread throughout the state.

“Soaring Eagle Gaming is honored to join forces with the Detroit Lions in a multiyear partnership that will bring excitement to Lions fans,” said CEO of Soaring Eagle Gaming Melinda Coffin. “Soaring Eagle Gaming is eager to bring excitement to fans with our support of Power Hour, our Fan Cave experience and gaming related offers from all of our properties.”

Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort will also be the presenting partner of “Inside the Den” on the newly created Lions TV Network. The digital series delves into the behind-the-scenes stories within the Lions organization.

“It’s exciting to not only debut the Lions TV Network in its latest iteration, but to kick it off with such an engaging and fan-focused partner as Soaring Eagle,” said Detroit Lions Director of Broadcasting Carl Moll. “We are looking forward to continuing to evolve our television content this season and beyond.”

The new Lions TV Network is comprised of seven affiliate stations in media markets throughout Michigan and northern Ohio. “Inside the Den” presented by Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort can be found on those seven local stations in the region. The show will also re-air on Bally Sports Detroit across Michigan.

Michigan kicked off retail sports betting in 2020, followed by online betting shops in January 2021. There are more than 10 online betting apps in the state.
