The Charity Series of Poker will be hosting the Larry Frank Memorial Charity Event at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on Thursday, April 27. The no-limit hold’em tournament will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. Frank was the General Manager of Poker Relations for the Seminole Hard Rock who sadly passed away in 2021.
The buy-in for the tournament is $300 (with unlimited re-entries), and includes a reception before the tournament begins. If anyone would just like to attend the reception it is $100. The reception that begins at 5:30 pm in Salon East at the Seminole Hard Rock will include a silent auction, cocktail hour, and hors d’oeuvres. Business casual attire is recommended. Top players that have already confirmed their attendance include Michael Mizrachi and Anthony Zinno.
The charity tournament will follow at 7 pm in the Grand Ballroom. The grand prize in the event will be $5,000 along with a $3,500 seat in the World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown main event that begins the following day on April 28. There will be other prizes at the final table, and the silent auction prizes as well.
