The 2023 PokerGO Tour season will conclude with the PGT Championship in December, a $1,000,000 freeroll event with a guaranteed $500,000 first-place prize. This million-dollar tournament will be contested by not only the top 40 players in the final season-long PGT points standings but also by a select group of Dream Seat winners.
This promotion was first announced at the start of the year, with the initial press release stating that Dream Seats would be awarded, “… via special events and promotions.” Since that initial assertion in January, several ways to win have been divulged.
First, it was revealed that all RunGood Poker Series ring winners will earn an invite to the RGPS Dream Seat Invitational at the Thunder Valley Casino Resort in November. The winner will secure a spot in the PGT Championship. Then, the PGT unveiled that three more Dream Seats will be handed out via random drawings from the pool of all annual PokerGO subscribers. Those drawings will take place on June 6, July 17th, and a third date that is yet to be determined.
The most recent announcement about how poker fans can attempt to win their Dream Seat came in early April. The PGT revealed that contestants can earn raffle tickets for the PokerGO Social Media Dream Seat giveaway by completing a number of different tasks on social media before the drawing for this particular seat is held on Sept. 30.
