Annie DukeAnnie Duke is one of the most famous female poker professionals in the world. She has cashed in more than 50 major tournaments, and at the San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino, she will be hosting one of her own.

The Annie Duke $100,000 Hold'em Tournament is scheduled for Oct. 25 and anyone can qualify for this freeroll event between now and Oct. 24. Players must obtain a tournament-qualifying card and earn six stamps for it. The stamps are awarded when a player make a full-house or better. Once the card is completed, the player is issued a tournament entry. A valid Club Serrano Card is necessary for the event.

The tournament is limited to 1,000 players and is a mixture of a shootout-style tournament and a freezeout-style tournament. The first two rounds will be in a shootout format, and the winner of each table will advance. The last round will consist of the remaining 40 players and play down to a winner in a freezeout format. Along with all of the free money, players will have the privilege of meeting Duke, as she will serve as master of ceremonies.

"Of all casinos in Southern California, San Manuel is one of the best places to play poker," said Duke in a press release. "I am proud to be partnering with them for this very exciting event."

Duke's many poker achievements include a World Series of Poker bracelet in a $2,000 Omaha eight-or-better event in 2004. She also proved her mettle in August of that same year when she outlasted eight of the world's best players in the invitational WSOP Tournament of Champions. She beat Phil Hellmuth heads up to win the $2 million first-place prize.
