The Card Player Poker Tour is once again teaming up with bestbet Jacksonville, home of the largest poker room in Florida, for a nine-event tournament series. The 2023 CPPT bestbet Jacksonville is scheduled for Aug. 10-21. This will be the tenth CPPT festival held at the North Florida poker hotspot.

While past CPPT bestbet festivals have been built around a standard no-limit hold’em tournament, this year the centerpiece of the series will be the $1,700 buy-in $300,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty main event. The tournament will run from Thursday, Aug. 17 through Monday, Aug. 21, with a massive top bounty prize of $50,000.

The Mystery Bounty main event sports three starting flights, each beginning at noon on Aug. 17-19. Players will start with 30,0000 in chips as they battle to make it to day 2, which will be livestreamed on bestbetLIVE, the card room’s popular YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook Live channel that hosts tournament and cash game action. The stream will document all the excitement as players secure and open their mystery bounties.

2022 CPPT bestbet Jacksonville champion TK MilesThe main event final table will be also streamed on bestbetLIVE on Aug. 21, as will the final day of the $100,000 guaranteed $400 buy-in kickoff event (streamed Aug. 13) and the final table of the $300 ladies event (streamed Aug. 16).

The CPPT’s last stop in Jacksonville took place in November of 2022. The main event saw Floridian poker pro TK Miles defeat a field of 224 entries in the $3,000 buy-in tournament.

Miles earned $121,480 from the prize pool of $604,800 after he struck a heads-up deal with 10-time World Series of Poker Circuit gold ring winner Jeff Trudeau, who took home $109,321 as the runner-up finisher.
