Sportsbook Posts Odds For Musk-Zuckerberg FightEvent Still Appears Unlikely But UFC Is Interested |

Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg are flirting with a potential fight in Las Vegas.
Last week, the billionaire social media executives took to their respective platforms to challenge each other to an MMA-style fight. It’s unclear what the exact rules would be.
It started with Musk saying he’d fight Zuckerberg. Later, Zuckerberg, who has been training Brazillian jiu-jitsu in recent months, accepted the challenge. The back-and-forth went viral.
To capitalize off the news, one regulated sportsbook posted hypothetical odds. DraftKings Sportsbooks said in a press release that Musk would open as a +140 underdog against Zuckerberg (-160). Despite the unofficial odds, the fight remains highly speculative.
There are no odds on DraftKings’ website or platform for Musk-Zuckerberg.
“Zuckerberg is 12 years younger and has taken part in an intensive challenge in which he ran a mile, completed 100 pull-ups, 200 press-ups and 300 squats, before running a further mile, all while wearing a 9kg weighted vest. He also has been training in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Musk also dabbles in taekwondo, karate, judo & jiu-jitsu,” said DK’s Director of Race & Sports Operations Johnny Avello.
It’s unclear if the bout would even be approved for wagering in any jurisdiction, let alone Nevada. DraftKings isn’t legal as a sports betting site in Nevada.
Despite all the uncertainty, UFC President Dana White is interested.
“Zuckerberg takes this very seriously,” White said on The Pat McAfee Show. "He’s very into this sport; he trains and has been training for years. Now he’s starting to compete in jiu-jitsu tournaments, and the talks that I’ve had with Elon, Elon trained in martial arts, too. He’s done jiu-jitsu and says, ‘Listen, I grew up in South Africa; I’ve been in many fights. It’s not like I haven’t fought before.’
“You look at these two tech guys, and nobody thinks that they can fight, but they want to. It’s real, and we’ll see how this thing ends up. You know me, I’m working on it. I think this will be the biggest fight in the history of the world, and I think it will set a record that will never be broken if it happened. I like putting on fights that people want to see like this.”
