Soukha Kachittavong has been on a roll at the 2023 PokerStars U.S. Summer Series at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. The poker player from Woonsocket, Rhode Island has made a final table during each of the past three weekends at this event, coming away with two titles along the way.

Kachittavong kicked off his hat trick with a seventh-place finish from a field of 1,020 entries in the $200,000 guaranteed $550 buy-in no-limit hold’em event that ran from Aug. 24-27, earning $13,800 for his efforts.

On Labor Day, Kachittavong secured the title in the $300,000 guaranteed $1,100 buy-in no-limit hold’em event, besting a field of 714 entries to earn $105,408. In that event, Kachittavong chopped with Cheng Xu, who earned one fewer dollar than the champion as the runner-up ($105,407).

Just six days removed from that win, Kachittavong once again battled his way to the title in the $500,000 guaranteed $2,200 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament, the highest-stakes event on the schedule. He outlasted a 448-entry field in that event, striking a heads-up deal with Greg Himmelbrand that saw both players take home $147,735.

All told, Kachittavong has cashed for $266,943 across his three deep runs at this festival, bringing his lifetime earnings to over $1.8 million.

Kachittavong has now made five final tables in 2023, with three titles and 2,648 Card Player Player of the Year points locked up along the way. As a result, Kachittavong now sits in 74th place in the 2023 POY race standings presented by Global Poker.

Several big names ran deep in the $2,200 buy-in event alongside Kachittavong, including 2015 World Series of Poker main event champion Joe McKeehen (43rd), three-time bracelet winner Matt Matros (40th), and 2006 WSOP main event champion Jamie Gold (8th).

Below is a look at the final table results from the three events that Kachittavong final tabled during this series.
