Adam Gerber ended up with all the chips at the $10,000 United States Poker Championship, which was held at Trump's Taj Mahal in Atlantic City this past week. He took home $606,000 for his victory.

Gerber beat 163 other players to claim the championship, which had the lowest turnout for the $10,000 event since 2003, when 99 players entered. Last year, 261 players showed up. In 2005, 225 players entered, and in 2004, 187 players played.

For years, the event was filmed and broadcast by ESPN, but the network decided to focus on only World Series of Poker events and dropped the USPC tournament series from its schedule late this summer.

The top six finishers of this year's USPC were: Gerber; Louis Lee, $318,160; Mathew Glantz, $159,080; Edward Brogdon, $95,448; Victor Ramdin, $71,586; and Jared Okun, $55,678.
