Day two of the PokerStars.com European Poker Tour Baden Open saw 156 players return to battle it out for the €670,800 first-place prize. The tournament attracted 282 players who paid €8,000 each, creating a total prize pool of €2.14 million. By the close of play, just 40 players remained, 24 of whom will cash.

Julian Thew is among the chip leaders in BadenNotable eliminations included Dario Minieri, Barry Greenstein, Noah Boeken, Katja Thater, Paul Testud, Luca Pagano, and Barny Boatman.
