Strip Poker: Satellite into Caesars Palace Classic Events

Starts Friday and Includes Single-Table and Mega-Satellites

In this "Strip Poker" series, Card Player covers the Las Vegas poker scene - on The Strip and around the city.

The inaugural Caesars Palace Classic starts tomorrow, as do the satellites for all events, making big money and a chance at a guaranteed $1 million first-place prize for the $10,000 buy-in main event a real possibility for any player.

The single-table satellites start at 9 a.m. and run until 2 a.m. every day and vary in buy-ins and pay-outs. The following are the details on the sit-and-go satellites:

All satellites feature 15-minute blind intervals.

Tournament chips can be used to buy into any of the Caesars Palace Classic events. There will also be mega-satellites running daily at 7 p.m. which are $550 buy-ins. Players receive $2,000 in starting chips and blinds increase every 30 minutes. For every $10,000 in the prize pool, a seat will be awarded to the main event that runs from Oct. 22-24. Players who have already qualified for the main event will receive 20 $500 tournament chips. On Sunday, Oct. 21, there will be an additional mega-satellite at noon.
