The Celebrity Poker Tour returned to the PokerGO Studio last week and saw quite an interesting hand involving YouTuber Tana Mongeau, Bookit Sports CEO Trent Attyah, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Laviska Shenault, and actress Princess Love.

The hand in question saw two players find sets and the other two grab open-end straight draws. The hand began with Love holding 6Spade Suit 5Spade Suit and Mongeau with 9Spade Suit 6Diamond Suit. Shenault looked down at 7Club Suit 7Spade Suit while Attyah entered the action with a monster, KSpade Suit KDiamond Suit.

The flop of KClub Suit 8Diamond Suit 7Heart Suit brought plenty of fireworks. Shenault scored a set of sevens only to be topped by Attyah with a set of kings. The other two players also picked up open-end straight draws. With 1.6 million chips already in the pot, Love immediately fired out 500,000.

Mongeau made the call, but Attyah moved all in for his remaining 2.75 million. Shenault seemed to have a great read on his opponent.

“He’s got to have kings,” he said. “There’s no way he don’t have kings.”

However, Shenault ultimately chose to call despite his spot-on instincts. Love then folded, but Mongeau decided to come along and was all in herself. Shenault would need the remaining seven in the deck and Mongeau would need any five or ten to complete a straight and scoop the pot.

The turn card then brought the QClub Suit – no help for Attyah’s two opponents. However, the 10Spade Suit fell on the river giving Mongeau a straight and securing the pot. Attyah could only stare in stunned silence at his misfortune.

The Celebrity Poker Tour Invitational II featured celebrities, professional athletes, business leaders, and content creators all vying for a top prize of $20,000, with all the action streamed on PokerGO.
