The World Poker Tour World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas will once again bring the WPT season to a close in grand style. The official dates for the third-annual WPT WC have been released, with the 2024 series to run from Dec. 3-23.

“With great pride, we unveil the festival dates for the highly anticipated 2024 WPT World Championship,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “The tradition continues as we enter our third year alongside the incredible Wynn Las Vegas team, so mark your calendars in preparation for what is sure to be another memorable December.”

2023 WPT WC champion Dan SepiolThe record-setting 2023 running saw more than $100 million in prize money paid out across 23 events, with 14 of the tournaments building prize pools of at least $1 million. The $10,400 buy-in event drew the largest WPT main tour field in history with 3,835 entries, but ultimately fell just short of reaching the lofty $40,000,000 guarantee. Dan Sepiol walked away with $5,282,954 as the eventual champion.

Last year’s WPT Prime Championship also set a record, with 10,512 entries at $1,100 a piece making it the largest live field for any WPT tournament. As the last player from that massive field, Calvin Anderson earned nearly $1.4 million.

“We are ecstatic to continue our partnership with the WPT for the third consecutive year,” said Ryan Beauregard, executive director of poker operations at Wynn Las Vegas. “Over the coming months, we’ll work diligently to craft an event schedule poker players from all over the world won’t want to miss."
