The 2024 Wynn Summer Classic continues to draw sizable turnouts on the Las Vegas strip. The latest big event to wrap up was the $4,000,000 guaranteed $3,500,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament. With 1,907 entries, the final prize pool swelled to nearly $6.1 million.
The largest share was ultimately awarded to Kilian Kramer. The German walked away with $985,137 for the win, which was by far the largest score on his resume.
In addition to the money and the trophy shaped like the venue, Kramer was also awarded 1,620 Card Player Player of the Year points as the champion. This was his first POY-qualified score, but it alone was sufficient to move him inside the top 150 in the 2024 standings presented by Global Poker.
