Gamblers have become accustomed to the hustle and bustle of casinos – the bells and whistles of slots machines, celebrations at the craps tables, the booming bass of piped-in music, cocktail-drinking revelers, and even the clicks of riffling chips in the poker room.

Casinos.com recently set out to study which properties are actually considered the loudest, according to guests who reviewed properties on Tripadvisor. The site scanned reviews, looking for mentions of keywords like “loud,” “noisy,” and “deafening.” Based on the percentage of mentions, each property was given a noise rating and ranked them from loudest to quietest.

A Look At The List

The study found that the Linq was viewed as the loudest casino in Las Vegas, with a rating of 10.15%. The property received 550 mentions of the word "noisy” and 99 people even referred to the casino as "blaring.”

“Located right off the bustling Linq Promenade, it’s no surprise that hundreds of people zip lining, even more lining up for the High Roller wheel, and even some stumbling out of O’Shea’s pub with a frozen Baileys wouldn’t exactly be quiet,” the report notes.

The Golden Nugget was second on the list with 8.74% on the loud scale. The property is located in the middle of Fremont Street, one of the busiest places in Sin City. The Plaza took the bronze medal on the loudness scale with 7.85%. A total of 272 reviews used the word “noisy” for the property while another 55 called it “annoying.”

On the opposite side, Caesars Palace took top billing as the quietest casino of the 29 properties rated with only 2.29% on the scale.

“You’re probably best off staying on the side that doesn’t face the Strip, as Caesars is pretty close to where all the action takes place,” the study added.

The Bellagio came in a close second with 3.11%. Despite being at the center of the Strip and having crowds gathering outside to see the fountain show every day, not one review used the word “deafening” or “roaring” – although 18 people did mention “headache.”
