First Cash Poker Room Coming to MacauAnticipated Operational Date is Nov. 20 |

It was announced today that the PokerDome Group partnered with the Diamond Casino in the Holiday Inn to bring the first permanent cash poker room to the People's Republic of China in the growing gaming city of Macau. The two companies anticipate that the room will be open to customers by Nov. 20.
The room will initially have eight tables, but there are already plans in place to build another floor in the Diamond Casino that can accommodate an additional 25-30 tables. Games that will be offered include no-limit hold'em and pot-limit hold'em. If approved by the government, seven-card stud, seven-card stud eight-or-better, Omaha, and Omaha eight-or-better will also be included.
PokerDome Group Chief Executive Officer Chris Levick said that in an effort to introduce the poker world to Macau, they have plans to host one of the largest international tournaments ever held.
The PokerDome Group is a company based in Sydney, Australia, that runs the Oz Poker Tour and operates five poker rooms. Levick also credited PokerDome shareholder and professional poker player Jeffrey Lisandro for his intricate role in bring this partnership together.
Lisandro is expected to spend a few months a year in Macau to promote the room and oversee its operations.
