This December, Las Vegas will once again host a week of poker tournaments geared toward female players. The Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) and Women in Poker organization have announced seven days of action running from Dec. 9-15.
This marks the third year for the Women in Poker Winter Festival and the events correspond with the World Poker Tour World Championship, which once again features a $1,100 Ladies Championship. The Wynn event comes with a $250,000 guarantee and runs Dec. 14-15.
In 2023, the tournament brought in 457 entries for a $443,290 prize pool. Las Vegas-based player Lisa Costello came out on top for $85,297.
Female players looking for women-only events have even more to look forward to, including a mystery bounty tournament, meet-up cash game, mixed-game events, and more.
“The Women in Poker Winter Festival is packed with an amazing week of poker, fun, and memory making!” Women’s Poker Association founder Lupe Soto said. “This series includes some new and some favorite events of the year.”
