The PokerStars.com European Poker Tour Dublin played down to the final table last night with recent World Series of Poker Europe main-event winner Annette Obrestad emerging as chip leader.

The 19-year-old Obrestad dispatched local hero Andy Black on the bubble with J-J versus 3-3, catapulting herself into the chip lead and ending Irish interest. Andy had started the day as chip leader, but a series of confrontations had seen his chances and chips dwindle as the day progressed.Can Annette Obrestad win a second major title this year?

Other casualties included English pair Martin Green and Arshad Hussain, Noah Boeken and Johnny Lodden.

The final table competitors (in seat order) are:

The total prize pool is €1.7 million, created by 221 buy-ins at €7,700. While numbers were significantly down this year, the prize pool remained almost the same due to the increased buy-in.
