A total of 1,755 entries were made in the latest World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown $3,500 no-limit hold’em championship in South Florida, blowing away the $3.5 million guarantee to build a final prize pool of $5,616,000.

After two starting flights and three more days of combined-field action inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, that sea of players has now been narrowed to just six contenders, each of whom has their eyes on the title and the top prize of $776,000.

The remaining competitors will have to wait a bit before one of them adds their name to the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup, as this event’s televised final table won’t play out until May 29th in Las Vegas.

The final six have locked up at least $164,000 by making it this far. Below is a look at the full remaining payouts:

1st – $776,000 (Includes a $10,400 seat into the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas)
2nd – $515,000
3rd – $380,000
4th – $285,000
5th – $215,000
6th – $164,000

Art Peacock

The chip leader heading into the final table is Art Peacock, who recently took down the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah’s Pompano Beach main event on his 66th birthday. Peacock has more than $1.6 million in previous cashes to his name, and with 27,150,000 in chips (109 big blinds) he is well-situated to add to that total in a major way later this spring.

Daniel Marcus has the next-largest stack with 22,150,000 (89 big blinds), and has already locked up his largest live cash by making it this far.

The same holds true for Jeffery Fritz, who sits in third chip position with 16,150,000 (65 big blinds). His best prior score saw him place 85th in this same event back in 2021 for $11,675.

Jared Hemingway’s 11,150,000 (45 big blinds) is good for fourth place on the leaderboard. He will surpass $1.1 million in career earnings regardless of how he finishes at the final table.

The second-shortest stack belongs to Mihai Niste, who bagged up 8,650,000 (35 big blinds). The Romanian player has more than $1.8 million in prior cashes under his belt, including a runner-up finish in a $3,300 buy-in event at the Merit Poker Western Series in January of this year for a career-best payday of $251,000.

Mitchell Hynam rounds out the final table with 2,000,000 (8 big blinds). Like Niste, the UK resident earned his top tournament windfall earlier this year. Hyman did so by taking down the Galway Poker Festival €700 buy-in event for $86,108.

The top 221 finishers made the money in this event, with plenty of big names running deep including triple crown winner Harrison Gimbel (32nd), bracelet winner David Moses (21st), WPT champion Asher Conniff (19th), bracelet winner and three-time WPT champion Brian Altman (18th), two-time bracelet winner Frank Funaro (11th), and five-time bracelet winner Brian Yoon (9th).

Alain Medesan bowed out in eighth place, with top pair losing to the bottom set of Hemingway. Rafael Rodriguez was then eliminated on the final-table bubble when his AClub Suit4Spade Suit ran into the 8Spade Suit8Heart Suit of Peacock, which held through a JHeart Suit7Diamond Suit3Spade Suit10Diamond Suit2Club Suit runout. Rodriguez earned $126,000 as the seventh-place finisher.
