Big Slick Waterford Winter Poker Festival Starts Friday

Anticipation Grows as Top Irish and UK Players Congregate for Three Days of Poker

Friday, Nov. 16 sees the start of the Big Slick Waterford Winter Festival at the Woodlands Hotel, Waterford, in southeast Ireland. The three-day €500+€50 no-limit hold'em main event begins Friday at 7:30 p.m. and is set to attract hundreds of local and overseas players, including Dave "El Blondie" Colclough, Padraig Parkinson, Roy Brindley, WSOP bracelet-winner Lawrence Gosney, and recent Irish Open winner Marty Smyth.

  • Nov. 18 -- €150+€20 no-limit hold'em freezeout

Supersatellites take place at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15 (€100 with one €50 rebuy) and 20 seats are guaranteed.
