Gibraltar-Based Bookie Teams Up with Admiral Taverns for New Online Poker Site

Victor Chandler has launched a new site, www.vcpubpoker.com, exclusively for customers of the 2,700 pub Admiral Taverns group. Patrons of the pub group are offered weekly freerolls, as well as hundreds of regular prizes, such as luxury chip sets and holiday packages to the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Michael Carlton, chief executive of Victor Chandler Internations, was quoted in the Morning Advertiser, a licensees trade paper, saying, "Now the fun of the local can continue at home after the pubs close with pub patrons taking their seats online on the poker table, as well.

"Thanks to our valued partnership with Admiral Taverns, individual pub owners have the chance to realize the substantial revenues associated with the online poker phenomenon whilst affording their customers a preferred membership in an exclusive gaming community."
