The Treasure Island poker room is kicking off the qualifying period for the $15,000 Crown Royal Poker Tournament today. Players must log in 20 hours of cash-game play from now until Dec. 13 to get a seat into the freeroll.
Regular cash games that are offered include $1-$3 no-limit hold'em and $2-$4 limit hold'em. Once the 20-hour minimum has been met, the player will receive a seat into the freeroll as long as the 44-player maximum has not been met.
The freeroll will take place on Dec. 14 at 10 a.m., and first place will receive $7,500 in promotional chips which can be used in the pit on any even-money bets.
