All events are no-limit hold'em and begin at noon. The first event has a $1,590 buy-in, and players can satellite in starting today.

The $15,000 main event starts Dec. 12. There are scheduled supersatellites taking place Sunday, Dec. 2 at noon, Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m., Dec. 10 and 11 at 10 a.m., and Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 10 p.m.
Last year, 583 players entered, and it was 2005 World Series of Poker champion Joseph Hachem who won the more than $2.1 million first-place prize and the coveted WPT title. He triumphed over a stacked final table that included Mads Andersen, Daniel Negreanu, and David Redlin. Hachem became a member of an elite club of players to win both a WSOP championship title and a WPT title.
