The $10,500 buy-in event attracted 53 players, despite losing its sponsor Full Tilt earlier this year. Players were treated to 90 minute levels. Tony G said of the event, "The structure was better than the World Series of Poker main event. We had two dealers at the final table, so that the next hand was shuffled and ready to go, and we had tons of hands at the final table."
Alex Kravchenko, the Russian professional who won a bracelet at the World Series of Poker this year and also made the final table of the main event, came in third place, for $77,000.
A spokesperson for organizers Poker Professionals, Anastasia Bauer, said they were delighted with the turnout and remain very optimistic that the Moscow Millions will become one of the hottest poker destinations of the year.
