Grant Levy Becomes First Australian to Win AUS $1 Million on Home Soil

Grant Levy has won the PokerStars.net Asia Pacific Poker Tour at Sydney's Star City Casino, becoming the first Australian to win AUS $1 million in a tournament on home soil.

Levy, a 28-year-old teacher from Penrith in Sydney's western suburbs, beat 560 players, including former world champions Joe Hachem, Scotty Nguyen, Chris Moneymaker, and Greg Raymer to take the title.
