PokerStars Sunday Million
The PokerStars Sunday Million saw another big jump in attendance last night when 7,370 entrants bought in compared to last week’s 7,104. The end result was a prize pool of $1,474,000 to fight for and a first-place prize of $207,834 if no deal was made.
A deal was made, however, with four players remaining. Mr.Wrong was the chip leader when the deal was made, and he followed through to defeat beanage heads up. His win meant that he collected the extra money left on the table for the ultimate winner of the event (per the PokerStars chopping rules), putting his total winnings at $159,384.

Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee
The Full Tilt $750,000-guaranteed tournament had a record-breaking attendance and prize pool once again. Last night’s even had 4,257 entrants and a prize pool of $851,400. That amounted to 72 entrants more than the previous record of 4,185 entrants for the weekly $750,000 event. The players were gunning for a first-place prize of more than $150,000.
When it got down to heads-up play, Tim “Tim0thee” Adams and Trapstar878 were playing for a payday difference of almost $60,000. Trapstar878 claimed the extra chunk of change when he raked in the final pot. Tim0thee earned $91,014 for second place.

UltimateBet $200,000 Guarantee
UltimateBet’s $200,000-guaranteed tournament did what it had never done before: It avoided an overlay for a second time in a row. Last week’s record-breaking attendance of 1,063 was trumped by last night’s 1,069 entrants, making for a new record for the event. The prize pool last night came to $213,800, which offered $47,000 to the first-place finisher.
It deserves mention that both sideshowbobbb and sideshowgill made the final table of the event, and that they coincidentally went out one after the other in seventh place and eighth place, respectively. When it was down to the final two players, it was DIAGF ZPace versus rplrpl. Rplrpl was the “unfortunate” runner-up in the event, leaving the table with $24,537. DIAGF ZPace collected the $47,036 top prize in the tournament for outlasting his final opponent.
The final results were:
Bodog $100,000 Guarantee
The Bodog $100,000-guaranteed tournament was the only of the flagship tournaments to see a decrease in attendance this Sunday. The event had 801 entrants compared to last weekend’s 828, which meant that Bodog put up $19,900 to match the guarantee.
Poker pro Eric “Rizen” Lynch and Tomgus456 both made it through 799 other entrants to made it to heads up play for the $25,000 first-place prize. Tomgus456 laid the deathblow upon Rizen to earn the biggest payday, leaving Rizen with a $14,000 consolation prize.
