Ladbrokes Poker Signs Jonas 'Nebuchad' Danielsson

Scandinavian Online Player of the Year Signs for British Bookie

Jonas “Nebuchad” Danielsson, who this week was voted the Scandinavian Online Player of the Year at an awards ceremony in Copenhagen, is the latest player to sign a sponsorship deal with Ladbrokes Poker.

The 23-year-old Swedish online cash-game specialist beat Gus Hansen to take the award and is currently competing in the European Poker Tour Scandinavian Open in Copenhagen.

Edward Ihre, media director of Ladbrokespoker.com, said, “We couldn't have wished for better. We've had a brilliant start to 2008, first with our successful Caribbean poker cruise in Jan/Feb, and now the award. This is a sign of things to come for Team Ladbrokes.”

The company has 20 sponsored players in Copenhagen and plans to send 100 to Las Vegas this year for the World Series of Poker.
