The €6,700 buy-in event is a sell-out with 230 players competing on both of the two day ones, but only 82 made it through day 1A.

Bill Chen was the leading American at the end of day 1A with 40,300, and Alex Kravchenko is also sitting on a solid 40,500. Recent Scandinavian award-winners Tronde Erik Eidsvig and Jonas Danielsson are also in the top 20, while Barny Boatman is the leading UK representative.
