Asian Logic, theAsia-Pacific online and land-based gaming company, today announced a deal with Fortune Bid Holdings to launch two new online Asian-facing poker rooms.
AsianLogic subsidiary ESL will operate the rooms, which will be on Playtech’s iPoker network, with the first, Dirty Stack Poker, opening in April 2008. A second will follow soon thereafter and focus on a different market segment.
John Cislowski, president of Fortune Bid Holdings, said of the deal, “We have been hoping to establish our own rooms for some time but needed a strong partner already established in the market. We have been in discussions with ESL for some months, as they are a major force in online gaming, particularly in the Asian region.
“We are very excited at this agreement and what it brings to the table for us. We have been driving significant poker traffic for many years to third-party sites and have an established and loyal customer base. And with our own poker rooms, we see this as an opportunity to take it to another level.”
