Tomorrow marks the first day of the 2008 Wynn Classic, a 17-event series that climaxes with a four-day $10,000 no-limit hold’em event March 16.

A $500 no-limit hold’em event kicks off the series, which is no-limit Texas hold’em heavy. It’s the least expensive of all of the buy-ins (most are $1,000, $1,500, or $2,000). Although most of the tournaments are strictly hold’em, there is a two-day $1,000 H.O.R.S.E. event scheduled to start March 9 and a $1,000 Omaha eight-or-better event scheduled for March 3. There is also a $1,000 no-limit hold’em rebuy event March 7.

All of the events start at noon, and a $300 second chance tourney takes place each day at 7 p.m. The supersatelitte day takes place March 15 (two qualifying events take place: the noon event has a buy-in of $1,000 and the 7 p.m. event has a buy-in of $500).

The entire schedule can be found here, and please click here to watch a video piece about the Wynn Classic.
