Juan De Diego Wins Spanish Poker Championship

€100,000 Prize Pool Created by 175 Players in Spanish Championship

Juan de Diego has won the EuroSuperPoker.com Spanish Poker Championship in Villajoyosa, collecting €33,246 for his victory. A prize pool of just over €100,000 was created by 175 entrants who paid €660 each to participate. 

The top 10 payouts were:

  1. Juan de Diego — €33,264
  2. Angel Manso — €18,144
  3. Jose Fuentes Marin — €10,080
  4. Juan Garcia — €8,064
  5. Bruno Ortuño — €6,048
  6. Aniol Alcaraz — €5,040
  7. Andres Boluda Nadal — €4,032
  8. Jose Antonio — €3,125
  9. Cayetano Garcia — €2,117
  10. Laura Dominguez — €1,411

Only one non-Spaniard cashed in the event. Nick Stuart from the UK came in 19th for €1,008. Jose Fuentes Marin won the ‘Matador’ competition — he knocked 15 players out of the competition — and took home a €10,000 sponsorship deal from EuroSuperPoker.com.
