European Poker Tour Polish Open Day Two Recap

Prize Pool of Over €2 Million Up for Grabs as 359 Players Become 130 For Day 2

The PokerStars.com European Poker Tour Polish Open, taking place at the Casinos Poland Hyatt Regency, Warsaw has grown from 284 players last year to 359 players this year, and, with a buy-in of around €5,750 and a prize pool of over €2 million, it’s now a much-anticipated fixture on the busy European circuit.

Day 1B started with 168 players and ended with 61, with many recognizable names falling by the wayside throughout theAndy Black riding high in Warsaw day. Recent Premier League winner Andy Black kept his form riding high by busting Dave Colclough, Thomas Wahlroos, and Arnaud Mattern on his way into day 2 with 42,400 chips.

Greg Raymer fell victim when his A-K ran into A-K suited and the flush was filled, and Luca Pagano, William Thorsson, and Soren Kongsgaard also took an early bath.

Returning for day two but short stacked are Julian Thew, Liz Lieu, and Johnny Lodden.
