Deal, a poker movie featuring Burt Reynolds, Shannon Elizabeth, and Bret Harrison, will be released in selected markets April 25. Executive producer of Deal was Scott Lazar, who made the final table of the World Series of Poker main event in 2005, the year Joe Hachem won. Lazar, who finished sixth and won $1.5 million, also acted as a poker consultant for the picture.

The movie features Harrison as a cocky poker-playing Yale student who is struggling to get to the next level. Reynolds plays an old poker salt who gave up the game to save his family but comes out of retirement to take Harrison under his wing. Elizabeth plays Harrison's love interest, a Las Vegas prostitute.

The climax of the movie, where Harrison and Reynolds battle it out, was filmed on the World Poker Tour set. Isabelle Mercier is also at this fictitious final table, and the action is called by WPT hosts Vince Van Patten and Mike Sexton.

Deal was finished nearly two years ago and has experienced several delays being released.
