One of the most unique and prestigious events of the year is the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship (NHPC) wherein 64 invitation-only players battle heads-to-head in a bracket style tournament, and tomorrow, viewers can finally see all the action that happened at this year’s event.
The first episode of the 2008 NHPC is premiering April 13 at noon ET. Among the first-round matches that will air in the premiere show is Phil Hellmuth against 21-year-old high-stakes pro Tom Dwan, actor Don Cheadle against Gus Hansen, and Phil Ivey against 23-year-old amateur and online qualifier Alisha Kunze.
