CakePoker Offers Seat to Tourney at the Mansion

Have you ever had a dream about playing poker with high-profile celebrities and poker pros? Well, CakePoker is offering this in a promotion to award special prize packages.

The package includes a $1,500 seat into the Third Annual Celebrity Poker Tournament at the mansion and $1,000 cash for traveling expenses. The event is scheduled for May 17 and proceeds will benefit the Urban Health Institute (UHI), a non-profit organization founded to provide medical help after natural and man-made disasters around the world. Every Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET, a $55 buy-in tournament runs that awards one package per every $2,500 in the prize pool. There are several ways to get into this qualifier for cheaper including $2 rebuy and Gold Chip buy-in satellites. These can be found under the “Events” tab.

Previous winners of this event include Hollywood actor Don Cheadle, who was the first annual winner. Another Hollywood celebrity, Shannon Elizabeth, followed in his foots the next year. The winner receives a $10,000 seat into the World Series of Poker main event.
